PR Writing Introduction

Hello Everyone, my name is Gabrielle Claxton. I am a public relations major here at OU I am currently a junior. My hometown is Miami Florida. Some of my greatest motivations are my family and and loved ones. I feel the need to strive for success in order for them to feel proud of me and not worry about my well being. Currently, my main goals are to obtain the best grades possible so I can in turn graduate with a sufficient GPA. Then I would like to find a job preferable starting out in the Tulsa area. I really enjoy reading romance novels, as well as spending as much time with my baby sister Annabelle as possible.

This is my youngest sister Annabelle. I am the oldest of five girls. While it is important to me that I set a good example for all of them she is the one that gets the most spoiled by me. I find it crucial that I succeed so that she and the rest of my sisters know growing up that they can achieve anything they want to.

This semester I hope to learn more about the craft of public relations and all that the field entails.
