Prototyping

For the business card and letterhead design for the Student Board of Director program, I see a really clean design incorporating the Kansas City Fed, Oklahoma City Branch seal. I will utilize indesign tools to update the logo, maybe ad some drop shadow or a glow effect. The seal may only partially be on the design, bleeding off the page, but still dominant enough to know it’s purpose.

Since the design will be for the use of the students, I will choose a brighter blue (the Fed usually goes with navy). The message will convey a new feel to the classic Fed design-signifying the new ideas and concepts that will flow from the young professionals. The design should stand out in a stack of business cards. The students are taught about the importance of networking and this card could be one of their most powerful tools.
