Reflection 1-PR Writing

In lesson 2 we were asked to develop listening and persuasion skills around Public Relations. We learned the difference between marketing, advertising and PR. There were different videos that we were asked to watch that pertained to these concepts. I enjoyed watching the videos because it gave me a different view on why these certain skills are important and provided a visual element of learning. I feel that this lesson was extremely helpful for us to learn about and focus on at the beginning of this course. These are some basic but important concepts for us to know going forward. I learned some things that I hadn’t heard before and took notes on them to reference later on. I will definitely use this information down the road and will continue to reference it. I hope that we continue to have access to videos to provide us with a visual and look forward to what we will be doing next!
