Reflection
In my PR Publications course this week, we were asked to edit our letterhead and business card for the final project. Our final project consisted of designing a business card and letter head for an organization of our choice. I chose Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. I have been incredibly skeptical of my work and ability in photoshop and indesign ever since I began this course.
However, while editing my business card and letterhead this week, I realized that these programs are similar to riding a bike (something I’m AWFUL at, but thats a different story). With practice and many mistakes, a feeling of comfort is developed. I began to trust myself and my work, just like I trusted myself on the bike without training wheels. so I guess you could say, I took my training wheels off this week!!
I am quite pleased with the work I have done, especially for my first time ever using these programs. I’m strongly considering showing the design to the PR department at Scottish Rite and receiving some feedback. I am throughly excited for the projects throughout the semester.
