Reflection

This week we had to create a newsletter. I have some experience in this department, and I hope it showed. Most importantly, this project was a great refresher for InDesign. I haven’t used InDesign regularly in awhile so it was nice to get going on something. As you will see, my newsletter doesn’t have a deck for every article. I had to make a decision about whether or not I wanted to keep my theme or ad a deck, and the deck lost. There is a lot of red, but my company is Coca-Cola. So, I believe the colors are warranted. If this were going to a customer, I would probably spend a little more time lining things up from page to page, and adding a few more small “touches.” However, I think it stands pretty solid as is. There are no author names because coca-cola wants to control their message (one of the top 3 brands in the world so I guess they know what they are doing). Screenshots below. Hope you enjoy!
