Reflection

This week’s assignment was definitely difficult for me. I’m not a very technically savvy person, and the Photoshop and InDesign applications are both very complex once you really get into the meat of their capabilities. Typically, I learn very well by just throwing myself into a situation and figuring it all out as I go, however, that was not the case for this week. I learned that it was nearly impossible to just work in Photoshop or InDesign without watching the videos first. Adobe programs have so many capabilities that it is very hard to just learn the mechanics of it through trial and error. So, the videos were definitely a huge help! As I did my typesetting assignment I had to refer back to the videos countless times because I couldn’t do it all on my own. So, all in all, I was able to get a decent handle on Photoshop and InDesign, but definitely not without some help!
