This week in PR pubs we were asked to complete the first stages of designing a business card and letterhead for a company. I chose Lululemon as the brand I would design for. The first steps included some research on the company and its competitors.

The research ended up being easier than I had imagined. I enjoyed making different boards on Pinterest and inspiration seemed to flow as I was skimming through the site. As I finished up the research aspect of this assignment I moved onto a rough (very rough) draft of my business card. Something I found important for a business card through Pinterest was simplicity so I tried to start off with something super basic.

I was frustrated a few times while making my business card on InDesign because I had a vision of what I wanted the card to look like however, my inexperience with InDesign was limiting. I just kept reminding myself that practice will make perfect. Hopefully after asking more questions my vision can be portrayed.
