Reflection

In class we were assigned to make a business card using InDesign. We were then asked to go ahead and choose a organization, look at its competitors, ask ourselves what made our organization unique, create inspiration and mood boards on Pinterest then to test our InDesign skills!

I personally dreaded all week starting this project. I was nervous and unsure, I did not know what to expect. I am still not fully confident in my design skills. So I hesitantly started the project.

Once I started it was a lot of watching Professor Croom on YouTube and following along. I would stop, replay and pause when I felt necessary. Once I realized that I remembered the tools used in InDesign and that I was able to refer to my vision for help, it was a walk in the park.

I think I reacted in these ways because design is still something out of my comfort zone, but that I admire so much. I want so badly to be good or decent at design, but I know it will take design and skill. These are just the few steps.
