Reflection

This week, I was asked to choose an organization and create a business card for them. I created three Pinterest boards including a competitor analysis board, a design inspiration board, and a mood board. This helped me to determine the strategies used by other organizations similar to my own, designs that I thought would look great on a business card, and the message I wanted to convey.

I really enjoyed getting to make Pinterest boards and learn how to collect helpful information to help me in my design process. It made everything a lot easier!

I was intimidated by the thought of creating my first InDesign document from scratch, but I just started where I could and worked my way up from there. I would like to become more experienced with InDesign because I know that will expand my design abilities.

I want to be able to put the ideas I have in my head on paper. Experimenting more with InDesign will help me be able to do this!
