REFLECTION

In PR Pubs this week we worked on the letterhead for an organization of our choice. Our goal was to have the same design/tone as our business card for our letterhead.

In order to do this we were first asked to give anonymous feedback to our classmates business cards. This helped us examine others while also learning about proper texts, formatting and spacing. In addition to our feedbacks, we were also asked to comment on someones blog post as well as create the rough draft for our letterhead.

I enjoyed getting to view my other classmates business cards and blog posts. This gave me an idea of their personality and computer skills. I thought it was fun giving others feedback and positive criticism!

For the letterhead, we were asked to create a rough draft of a thank you letter. Our letterhead was supposed to look similar to the design of our business card.

After viewing my rough draft, I was pleasantly surprised with my work. I thought that it was very clean and to the point.

I think I was surprised at my work because I have never created a letterhead before so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I enjoyed this process because it let us show our different creative styles. Overall, I wasn’t sure if I would like my rough draft for my letterhead or not… but it turned out a lot better than I honestly thought it would! I was pretty pumped!

My letterhead rough draft example is posted below:
