Reflection
In my public relations publication course, lesson 2.3 instructed that I give another classmate feedback on their work thus far by participating in a “speed dating” activity and commenting on their blog post. Also, this week was the beginning of designing Triton Properties, LLC.’s first letterhead draft using Adobe InDesign.
When we were asked as a class to participate in a “speed dating circle” I was excited to see the other designs my classmates had come up with for the companies they were working with. I feel as if this was a great way to collaboratively brainstorm with other individuals to seek new opportunities and ideas to approve ones individual work.
Some affordances that an app like Canva brings to the table is the ability to edit work more closely and design at a more “free-hand” level. Some limitations an app like Canva brings to the table is not getting tools to work the exact way one is trying to use them for and the time required to figure out how to use all of the tools. Based on the design process, my design and layout ideas changed quite often depending on how well I could figure out how to operate the software.
Here is a copy of my business card and letterhead for Triton Properties, LLC.
