Reflection

Throughout this week in my Public Relations Publications class, we have been navigating our way around InDesign to make a business card for the company of our choice. We were asked to complete a ROUGH draft of our business card this week, which is exactly what my business card currently is…very, VERY rough.

Throughout last week’s assignments, I definitely struggled through each one, but with the business card this week, I tried not to get too worried just yet about making my business card perfect, since I knew ahead of time that we would have a few weeks to complete this project.

I found that going back and watching the tutorial videos from last week was very helpful when there were certain aspects of InDesign that I was struggling with. I found that simply creating a rough draft of my business card was easier than I expected, but I am still a long way away from being proficient in InDesign.

I think that I continued to remain calm throughout this week’s lesson due to the fact that we had much preparation from last week which helped me navigate through InDesign and complete a rough draft of my business card. I am looking forward to continuing to work on my business card throughout the next few weeks until it finally is exactly how I want it to be. It’s going to be a long few weeks continuing to get the hang of InDesign, but I am excited to continue learning!
