Reflection

This week we were asked to “just keep swimming,” meaning that we were continuing on the business card and letterhead project we had started before. We were asked to complete a business card and letterhead for an organization. I previously chose the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, as I am a Marketing Intern there this semester. I finalized a letterhead to coordinate with the business card I had previously created for the company. I valued the feedback I received about my business card and I decided to change the photo I used to better reflect the work of the Regional Food Bank. I am somewhat shocked with what i have created. Last year, I created a flyer using Indesign and found it extremely challenging. It’s exciting to see how far I have come and how much I have learned about Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. I think I am shocked because I am actually learning and I am confident that I know what I’m doing using these programs. I don’t have any interest in what I have created. I think that it reflects the company, however I don’t care too much for the designs and I would like to take what I’ve learned and create something better.
