Reflection

Yay! Time for another reflection. I am finding as I continue to design I feel like it is becoming harder for me because I feel like I have all these great ideas and I never know which on to pick and execute it.

For the direct mailer project I chose my first stakeholder as a high school senior that is a National Merit Scholar that is out of stake. This helped me to pick my second stakeholder because I realized that I wanted to aim this next mailer to parents, alum of OU, who would want their kids to go there as well.

My drafts have not changed much since the original one. I tweaked some of the colors and fonts to find the right one. I still think work needs to be done on these drafts but for tonight I think they are pretty good.

Personally I have found that I like to design on InDesign more than Photoshop. I find it easier to navigate and create the product that I am wanting. I have found similarities in a lot of the tools used in both programs and am finally getting the hang of it. I just find Photoshop more confusing and frustrating.
