Reflection

This week in class we were ask to design social media for a specific company. I decided to chose the store I work for. It is a small mom and pop shop that opened about two years ago, so they really don’t have alot of social media yet. I work there on holidays and in the summer and part of my job is to work on their social media. We were instructed to read an article called “7 Social Media Design Ideas for PR Pros” and do a few tutorials on how to work Canva. These two tools helped me alot of else I would have totally be lost when designing.

Wicker Park Home already has a logo but I tweaked it a little and tried to incorporate it in each of my social media post. I really enjoyed designing on Canva. I think it is a really great instrument to help spark people’s creativity and make it easy for them to design! I think social media post might be where I’m most comfortable designing, but we will see as the semester goes on!
