Reflection

This week in Public Relations Publication was dedicated to design. We were asked to finalize our business cards and start working on our letterheads. I am not quite finished with my business card yet. I am having trouble deciding how to incorporate the logo along with my design ideas. I just need to keep adjusting and moving things around and then I will be finished.

Next is the letterhead portion of the assignment. I have not started design yet. I just created the document in InDesign because I haven’t finalized my business card yet. I want the design to be present on both so I need to finalize my business card before I can transfer it to the letterhead portion.

I think the reason I haven’t finished my business card yet is because I want it to be perfect. Realistically it wont be perfect because I am a beginner InDesign user. I just need to moved past that and be content with the design.

I really enjoy using InDesign and have found that it’s a bit distracting because I like to move things around and play with the design and I need to focus. That’s my goal for next week, to focus and be confident in the design elements I incorporate.
