Reflection
Wow, I cannot believe I am finally turning in my final draft of my first InDesign project. Without much experience with InDesign, I would like to say that I am pleasantly surprised with the work I have completed. This week we were asked to make our last revisions to our business card and letterhead. I responded to this task by making a few small corrections that ultimately changed both designs in a big way.
After making these changes, I felt a lot more comfortable with my design than when I did in the past. After working a lot with InDesign, I have become a lot more confident when using it. I think I may feel this way because this project has come to an end, but also because I spent a lot of time trying to perfect the brand I was trying to make for my organization.
For now, I do not have any long term goals for this design, but maybe perhaps in the future I will show them to my Chapter.
If any other students were to ask me for advice, I would first tell them to breathe and not overthink it. At the beginning of this project I was super overwhelmed, but after conducting some research and making a mood board using Pinterest, ideas really began to flow.
