Reflection

This week we have been asked to create a direct mailer for specific stakeholder. Like I said in my last post, I decided to choose females ages 17-20 who have been accepted to the University of Oklahoma and are interested in Greek Life.

Okay, I’m not going to lie, I am struggling with PhotoShop. I feel like it is much harder than InDesign. This is going to take a lot of time and effort to create exactly what I want for the direct mailer but I feel like it is possible for me to do! This has probably been my hardest task so far in this course. My idea was for the front of the mailer to be simple and just a casual invite, which I felt pleased with. The back, I just wanted to inform them of the invitation to join Panhellenic and Greek Life. I want it to be simple, yet creative. I like the idea of my mailer, it is just difficult to perfectly place all of the details exactly where I want them.

Here is my draft. This is not my final direct mailer but I felt like this was a good start. I think I might need to play a little more with PhotoShop and learn the different aspects of the program. I want to hear some feedback before I begin my final design!
