Reflection 4.1

During this week in PR Pubs we were able to take a look into web applications that allow users to quickly make content that can be used for social media applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr. Applications such as Canva allow users to easily and quickly create content without having to use applications such as Photoshop and InDesign. Although there are many restrictions that come with using these types of  web applications it can be an important tool to Public Relations professionals.

The assignment allowed us to create an Instagram post, a Twitter header, a Facebook header and a Facebook post for a company of our choice.

I chose to choose Blaze PR, which is an international Public Relations Agency that specializes in the strategic representation of entertainment, health and beauty, hospitality, real estate and restaurants.  Based in Santa Monica, Blaze PR has offices located in Los Angeles, New York and Washington D.C.

Blaze PR seems to have a brand image of using the colors black, red and white so I wanted to keep that in mind while creating content for them.
