Reflection

For my PR Publications class I was asked to search and find two stakeholders to make a direct mailer for the University of Oklahoma’s Recruitment Office. The two stakeholders that I chose were 17-18 year old high school students and transfer students 20-22 years old.

I made my two drafts for my direct mailers for the recruitment office in Adobe Photoshop. The first stakeholder high school students made me want to do transfer students as my second stakeholder because transfer students are just as important in my opinion. Some students can’t afford to go to a four year universities all four years and so they go to two year colleges first and transfer second.

This is the first time I have posted both drafts because of the bad weather last week. I know it is not perfect and I have to figure out how to adjust and make the images clearer.

The differences between InDesign and Photoshop to me are not that different. They are similar in ways such as inserting text, colors and images. I feel like I understand Photoshop a little bit better than InDesign only because I have past experience with Photoshop.
