Reflection

So I’m one hundred percent obsessed with Canva. My only complaint is that I didn’t know about it sooner honestly. I think that it makes font pairings and modern design so so much easier. I think that there are obviously limitations. If I had a design idea that I wanted to execute I more than likely couldn’t do it on Canva. However, with my limited knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop I couldn’t create it on their either. My design process definitely changed around the technology. I think rather than created a concept from scratch I looked at the resources of the site and created from there.

1. What were you asked to do? Create social media posts using Canva.

2. How did you respond to what you were asked to do? I had a lot of fun working in the Canva program. I responded to what I was asked to do by first assessing my resources and then creating the design.

3. How did react to what you actually did? I am really happy with the design pieces and really hope that the church uses them. I think they are clean and reflect the modern crowd the event is trying to draw.

4. Now go one level deeper: Why do you think your reaction was what it was? I think that I like the design because I wish that my church did more simplistic graphics. I am hoping they use this so that they can see how effective minimalist design can be.
