Reflection

This week in PR Pubs we were asked to create 4 social media designs using Canva. We were asked to create a Facebook and Twitter Cover and a Facebook and Instagram Post. This was my first encounter with Canva and I really enjoyed it. I took the tutorials and learned it’s a fairly easy application to use. Its really user friendly and allows you to concentrate on your design rather than how to use the program. At first, I was just playing around with some ideas and looking through everything I could do on Canva. It was really fun and I got a little distracted by it in class. Then, when I went to start/complete my designs canva wasn’t working. It wouldn’t allow me access to the design templates. My designs were not finished and are not in a place I want to show them to anyone. I basically was just playing around and testing everything out and then the site wasn’t working. I guess this is one of the downfalls of using an online-based program. Which is a bummer because Canva is really fun to use. I am definitely going to use it in the future and recommend it to others.
