Reflection

Before taking Public Relations Publications, I had started a blog where I occasionally would post on, but my ultimate goal behind starting my blog was so that I could blog while I was studying abroad in Italy last summer. I really enjoy blogging, but I feel that I sometime forget that I have a blog or get too busy to have time to sit down and write a blog post, which is why summer was a greta time for me to blog.

I was excited to start back up with blogging with this class, which has become a weekly routine for me. I think having to blog each week for PR Publications has been a good way to get me back in the routine to get back to using my personal blog. The previous blogging site that I used was not wordpress, but I have found that I enjoy using wordpress, so I plan on continuing with this domain for my future blogging.

I think that this will also be a great space for me to show the work I’ve done when searching for jobs after I graduate. Something I regret not doing at the beginning of the semester is making the design of my domain my own with my own design touches. I definitely am planning on going back and adding more color and design to my domain for a more preferred look. I think also adding more contact information about myself would be helpful as well when seeking future jobs. Overall I have greatly enjoyed using this specific domain and plan to continue using it in the future after this class.
