Reflection

This week, I was asked to learn how to effectively use Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. I had to watch video tutorials and ultimately teach myself how to use these complex programs. I was then asked to understand the concept of typesetting and everything it entailed.

All the information that I learned this week was a tad overwhelming. I’m quite the perfectionist, so I had to learn that not everything was going to work out perfectly- that it was all a learning process. It definitely challenged me, but I enjoyed it at the same time.

After I finished everything, I felt very accomplished. I felt like I was able to grasp the concepts, maybe not fully, but to the best of my ability. I had to accept that my work wasn’t always going to be perfect, but I enjoyed feeling like I learned a lot.

I like my work to be done right, so I’m not a fan when I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing. This has definitely been a learning experience for me!
