Whew! This week in my PR Pubz class I was asked to choose an organization and create a logo and business card for that particular organization. In addition to analyzing my organization’s competitors and building a communication strategy.  Also, I created an inspiration and mood boards on Pinterest for the design portion of my business card. Along the way I got sort of addicted to pinning things on Pinterest and side tracked a little bit,but frontally I got back on task. This week has been challenging but I actually enjoyed working with Indesign (once i got the hang of it). I am excited about the production of my business card. My initial reaction to this project was “how am I going to get all of this done in time.” Although I did the best that I can I wish that I had more time to work on my business card, and get more creative as a I learn more on how to use the tools on InDesign. Being that I am in 18 hours this summer cuts down time for how much I can spend on my projects in this class.

Furthermore, I tried to accomplish a fresh and clean look by approaching a minimalistic tone for my design with a glossy finish. I originally wanted to do a shape of a fruit or some other food and have it open up displaying my information, but that would have been too time consuming to figure out given that I am new to InDesign and Photoshop.

Here is the front and back of my business card.
