Reflection: Business Card

This week in my PR Publications class, we were working on creating ideas and images for an organization of our choice. We were asked to create different boards on Pinterest to help us come up with colors, shapes and fonts. Then, we were asked to start designing an actual business card for our organization using InDesign.

To be honest, creating a business card design is a lot tougher than I expected. I had so many ideas coming to mind that trying to put it all together was sort of overwhelming. I played around with colors that I thought would be great for the organization, but unfortunately did not fit well with the logo. I ultimately wanted to keep the business card more simple and easy to recognize. I think my first draft it a little too boring and simple, but I think the more I use Pinterest to receive inspiration, I will get a better idea of what my final business card will look like.
