Reflection – Dummy Layout Newsletter

This week we were ask to pick a Fortune 500 Company and start coming up with ideas for a Newsletter. We were also asked to work with InDesign and start creating a dummy layout for this design Project. This layout would include 4 different pages, which would consist of headlines, decks, bylines, text boxes, photos, photo captions and subheads.  I decided to work with the Coca Cola Company again just because of their amazing logos, photos and stories that came along with the company. Also, after working with this company last week, I have started to become more familiar and interested with their business.

After reading through Lesson 11, I was excited to work with InDesign again. At first, I was a little nervous about the length of the assignment. This class so far has never had an assignment with this much length. But after doing a lot of research on Coca Cola, I have a lot of ideas of stories that I would like to place within the Newsletter.

After completing my first dummy layout, I actually became really excited. I like the different types of layouts I did for each page. Later on with this assignment, I am excited to see the amount of colors that will be added to the article because of the images I pick out. Below are screenshot of my dummy layouts.
