Reflection – Final Newsletter

Last week we were ask to pick a Fortune 500 Company and start coming up with ideas for a Newsletter. We were also asked to work with InDesign and start creating a dummy layout for this design Project. This layout would include 4 different pages, which would consist of headlines, decks, bylines, text boxes, photos, photo captions and subheads. I decided to work with the Coca Cola Company again just because of their amazing logos, photos and stories that came along with the company. Also, after working with this company last week, I have started to become more familiar and interested with their business.

This week we were asked to edit these dummy layouts and add in relevant news articles about our companies. I went online and found articles that were very interesting and positive about The Coca Cola Company. I made a lot of edits to the font sizes, font format, and the overall layout of the newsletter. I wish I knew of a better way to show off Coca Cola’s brand at the top of each header, but I thought the color red kept it interesting. Below are screenshots of my final drafts of the newsletter.
