Reflection for March 21
- How has your first stakeholder help define your second stakeholder?
My first stakeholder helped me define my second stakeholder because I was able to choose someone close to them and I chose the first stakeholder’s parent. Parents can have a lot of influence over where their kids go to school. I am making this direct mailer focused on financial aid and scholarships which will appeal to the parents as that is less money they would have to spend and less debt their kids would have to go into in order to go to graduate school.
- Has your design changed since the last draft? What influenced the changes?
This week I was able to get a much better understanding of this project and what I need to be doing for it. I thought more about the overall design when I was asked to think of a second stakeholder to make this for. I want the designs to go together and be similar while having different content on them.
- What similarities and differences have you found between Photoshop and InDesign?
I think Photoshop and InDesign are kind of similar; they have a similar interface and layout with all the tools being in the same place, although they have different tools. Photoshop seems to be much more about design elements where as I felt like InDesign was helpful with text. Although I am able to do text stuff with Photoshop as well. I might be a bit more bias with Photoshop as I have a little more experience working with it so it seems familiar to me.
