Reflection-Lesson 2.3

This week in my PR Publications class, we added the final touches to our business cards and letterheads. Here are some thoughts on the process of my first design project:

1. What were you asked to do?

I was asked to research, analyze and think creatively. Then I was asked to take all that work and produce a physical representation of my ideas and research.

2. How did you respond to what you were asked to do?

At the beginning of this project I felt overwhelmed with the amount of new information I was processing-from the research to the lessons on InDesign.

3. How did react to what you actually did?

I think I’m pretty proud of the way I handled the assignment. Although there’s always room for improvement, I enjoyed this first design project and it makes me excited to learn about what else I can do with InDesign and Photoshop.

4. Now go one level deeper: Why do you think your reaction was what it was?

I feel that now that I have a basic understanding of design, the following assignments will be more about me being creative and enjoying myself and less worrying about technicalities.
