Reflection – Letterhead

 

 

This past week in my PR Publications class we were asked to make a letter head for the client. It was definitely a slightly challenging assignment, because the look and mood of letterhead had to match that of the business card. However, this assignment was enjoyable because I got to learn more about InDesign as well as use some of my skills to play with my design.

I think I responded well to what I asked to do in the assignment. I am starting to feel more comfortable with InDesign, so it is not as scary to use anymore. However, I think that my rough draft is really good. I like the feel of it, but it does seem slightly to plain and simple, even for my taste. It is not as hard to get the computer to do what you want, but I am still far away from being perfect. I like what I did, but there is room for improvement.

I think my reaction was like that, because I didn’t have any writing on it. It was just a clean piece of paper, but now that it has writing it looks a lot better. I think my reaction was more about feeling successful that I am starting to really understand InDesign. It isn’t as scary any more and that has greatly increased my confidence in trying new things with the program. Lastly, I do feel accomplished now that I have finished the rough draft design for the business card and the letterhead.
