Reflection on Final Direct Mailers
For my public relations publications class, I completed two direct mailers.
I was asked to target them at two connecting audiences. I was excited to work on the project in order to learn more about Photoshop. I like the work I produced in the end. I put time into completing the original idea and editing my first drafts. I think that I was satisfied with my work because of the amount of time that I put into it.
I feel that I have become more confident with the work I have done and the tools that I have used. I found that InDesign is a lot easier than Photoshop. I do not like how Photoshop requires the user to switch between layers. However, Photoshop does offer textures and other features that InDesign does not.
Overall, I like InDesign better because my work is more accurate as to what I wanted. I also believe that my work is better quality because I as able to spend more time designing instead of always trying to figure the tools out.
Below are the final drafts of my direct mailers.
