Reflection – Summary of Learning
This is my Summary of Learning project. I am so happy to have put it together and I am really proud of what it means. This video explains all the work that I have done this past semester with a brief description of my emotions along the way. It was truly a roller coaster experience, but I learned so much from this class. It is still hard to believe that it is over.
I think what makes this movie special is that it combines the raw emotions of designing projects with humor so that they are not so dry. I thoroughly enjoyed spending a couple of days putting this video together and I hope it gives you a brief look at what I did this last semester as well as how I felt about all assignments. However, if you would like a more in-depth look at my assignments as well as my reasoning for creating everything, then kindly check out my portfolio page.
All in all, I really enjoyed this class and I feel like I did some good work. Moreover, I am excited to take what I learned this past semester and apply it to my future classes and career. These tools that I have gathered along the way will be invaluable.
I have loved this class. I came into this semester with knowing next to nothing about digital design, but my professor has helped me progress to a point where I feel comfortable doing most anything on Photoshop and InDesign. It might take awhile and I might need help along the way, but I feel confident that I know how to operate the software.
Lastly, I believe I have grown in this class as a writer and a designer. I have really enjoyed writing the weekly reflection posts, because when I go back and reread them I can see how I have grown. I believe this quote from C.S. Lewis sums it all up perfectly. “Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back, everything is different…” This is how I feel about this class. Week by week, I felt as if nothing changed, but looking back I can see how I have grown. I have loved this class, but I am excited for the future!
