Reflection: The Beginnings of a Newsletter

For the last big assignment in my publications class, we are working on a newsletter for a Fortune 500 company. I chose PepsiCo for my company and I am going to focus the newsletter on the Performance with Purpose articles that are listed in the PepsiCo newsroom.

My biggest challenge with this assignment was to try to determine the layout difference in a newspaper and a newsletter. I tried to pull design layouts from both ideas, just to realize that they may be pretty similar to begin with.

Here is the dummy layout for my newsletter design. I will continue to work on it and eventually add the text and photos.
