Relection

For this week’s assignment, we were asked to build a business card for an organization of our choice. Before creating the business card, we were asked to brainstorm ideas for what we wanted it to look like. We did our brainstorming by making Pinterest boards for mood/layout inspirations. Afterwards, we put our hard work to the test and created our first rough draft of our business card.

So far this has been my favorite week in PR Pubs! I was excited when I saw that we got to create Pinterest boards for this specific project. I was a little nervous about using InDesign, but ended up having a lot of fun creating my business card.

After I created my rough draft, I was pretty pumped. Although I think that I could make it more exciting, I thought that I have a good start/general idea on what I want the final product to look like.

I think that I could make it more exciting because the front has a lot of white space on it. I think my reaction was this way because I want people to be excited about Relay For Life! For my final project I want to try to add more color and decrease my blank white spaces on the front.
