Research 

For my Public Relations Publications class at OU, our assignment was to pick a company we would want to work for and design them a company business card and letterhead. For my company, I chose Edelman. Edelman is a public relations firm in New York City that specializes in entertainment, sports, and healthcare. I chose Edelman because it is the worlds biggest PR firm and ranked #1 out of all PR firms and #3 out of all sports PR firms. 

Researching 

1. What is your organizations mission- the service or product it sells? 

My company’s mission is to build and protect the reputation and image of its clients. They want to deliver the best in communications strategy to their clients so they [Edelman’s clients]can reach their business and communication goals.

2. Who are its main competitors? 

Edelman’s main competitors are 1)Taylor (#1 ranked sports PR firm) and 2) APCO Worldwide (#2 ranked PR firm).

3. What are your organization’s most dominant attitudes and core values?

Edelman is committed to honesty, fair dealings, and transparency. They value the relentless pursuit of excellence, the freedom to be constantly curious, and the courage to do the right thing.
