After a long process of learning the awesome but time-consuming tools of InDesign and Photoshop, it is time to take it to the next level.

My PR Publications class now has a new challenge to put our recently learned skills to the test. The task is to choose an organization we are affiliated with in someway and create a business and letter head. I have chosen the international literature magazine, World Literature Today (WLT), as my organization because I am not only interning with them this semester but also love their work. The following sections will detail more about WLT’s current state, regarding it’s place in the market and the individual standing goals and mission.

World Literature Today’s most dominant trait stands with it’s mission to bring international literature to the world. It brings together foreign cultures to readers, creating a better connection culturally in a globalized yet culturally seperated world. Knowing a culture’s literature is like finally figuring out the piece missing of an 1000-piece puzzle. One finally understands many of the cultural references, the culture norms are understood better and one can understand this immense world better. WLT wishes to be the connection to its readers and the rest of the unknown.
