Social Media Design

For my public relations publications course we were required to created social media designs for a company to showcase their brand, upcoming sales or anything worth posting on social media. For my company I picked a local salon and spa in Houston called Oasis Salon and Medi Spa because they have frequent sales and change their pictures avidly.

Initially I thought this would be an easy assignment, but I kept finding that more and more designs or templates I wanted to use had to be purchased. Eventually I just decided to purchase them since they were what fit best with the company. Overall I’m very pleased with the designs and how classic they look, and true to the companies aesthetic. I enjoyed working with canva and what the website has to offer.
