Social Media Reflection

This week in PR Pubs we spent time learning how to use Canva, a program that helps you create social media posts, for a company of our choice. I decided to create Nike campaigns with Buddy Hield as my subject, which revolve around his desire to be his best and the leadership position he takes on the court (I think we can all agree that Buddy deserves his own Nike ads after the season he had.) I tried to make the designs look similar and true to the Nike brand by using similar fonts and placement. I first thought of using the same message and photo for each design, but I was overwhelmed by the many powerful images of Buddy on the court, so I obviously couldn’t pick only one. Overall, I am proud of my designs and think that they don’t look too shabby.

I loved the program because it was so much fun to work with and was easy to learn how to navigate. The program allows you to design anything and I loved the versatility it gave you when it came to fonts, colors, pre-made designs, and more. Basically everything I would ever need to create a social media ad was all in one place and it could not have been more convenient!
