Social Media Sprint Reflection

 

This past week in PR Pubs we worked on a social media sprint. We designed 4 different pieces for social media all based on a specific event or company we chose. I am one of the chairs for The BSA and NPHC event: Stompdown, so i decided to do my work on this event. When I tell you it was a sprint to the finish… I literally changed 2 of the posts 30 minutes before they were due. This is the second week i’ve done this last minute business and as much as I don’t want to make a habit out of it,  feel like what I have now is way better then where I started.

Working with Canva was actually really great. I’m definitely a fan of the easy to use format. I appreciate that I don’t have to be really tech savvy to get the results that I wanted. I like that it has templates laid out for you and everything is easy to figure out for the most part. I think you can’t do as much on the design side and get as creative as you can with InDesign or Photoshop but for social media purposes I think it works really well.
