Stakeholder #2

Stakeholder #2/ Information about College

For my second stakeholder I would like to target the parents of my first stakeholder by informing them of all the opportunities that OU and OU’s Weitzenhoffer College of Fine Arts program has to offer to their child.

Max Weitzenhoffer was an OU graduate and “a highly acclaimed Broadway and West End producer. His gift of $5 million, the largest individual endowment of any musical theatre program in the country, provides for scholarships, guest artists, faculty chairs and program enrichment.”

The College of Fine Arts gives students the opportunity to travel out of state and out of the country in places like New York or Greece where art and theatre has a rich history. Alumni at the College of Fine Arts has had a tremendous amount of success from performing on Broadway to going on National tours or furthering their careers at Regional theatres in Europe and Asia has highlighted that this is one of America’s premiere programs.

The faculty at the College of Fine Arts has had renowned success in their respected fields. Such as Lloyd Cracknell, a former fashion designer who has worked for high-end fashion powerhouses such as Versace is the current director of the Costume Design Program. In addition, the program gives the students an opportunity to network and get help from the faculty as their mentors toward success.

  • The stakeholders are around 40-55 years old with a combined income of $125,000-$200,000 with college degrees.
