Starbucks: An Empire

Upon choosing Starbucks as the company for which I will design both a letter head and a business card, I realized that I had chosen perhaps one of the most influential organizations in the world. Starbucks is a multinational corporation that holds almost monopoly-like control over the coffee and upscale beverage industry. They have expanded into every portion of dining, from snacks to breakfast and lunch to the classic coffee drinks that got them where they are today. I personally am a daily consumer of Starbucks coffee; every day I pay $3.21 for my venti 5 pump cinnamon dolce/half and half iced coffee, so I figure if anyone should be able to design well for them, it should be me, their number one fan.
