In my PR publications class we were asked to create a business card and letterhead for a company or organization of our choice. Last week we experimented with creating business cards and this week we began critiquing our classmates design and started designing our letterheads.

Our class was broken up into small groups where we critiqued each others business cards based on the elements of design. I feel that reading comments from my peers will really help me begin to perfect my design. I enjoyed being able to look at what my peers had come up with. I was impressed with everyones talent considering most of us are new to this program.

To be honest, I wasn’t exactly sure what all a letterhead entailed, so I used Pinterest like we did in the last lesson to start building a plan. I ended up finding that the letterhead was must easier to make than the business card because I used some of the same elements I had already created.

Overall, I had fun designing my letterhead, but I am eager to hear my classmates critiques so that I can start making necessary changes to make my design effective.
