Summary of Learning – Final Blog Post!

Could this possibly be the last reflection post I have to write for PR Publications?? It is! It really is!

This semester couldn’t have come and gone any quicker. It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in front of a computer in this class being confused by lynda.com tutorials about InDesign. Look how far I’ve come now! Kidding. I still get confused when using InDesign sometimes.

I was always looking forward to this class so I could learn the basics of all of these design programs, and it has been a huge learning experience for me. I’m glad that in this class we went over multiples programs so we could get at least get a grasp of all of them and then fine tune our knowledge on our own time.

Summary of Learning – Final Blog Post!

For my Summary of Learning project I decided to use Canva to create infographics that are quite literally a summary of what I learned this year. The first one describes the basic things that I learned like the difference between serif and sans serif fonts, the different elements of design and about identifying stakeholders. The second one briefly talks about the design programs we learned about this year and what we used them for.

Once again, I just cannot believe how quickly this semester flew by. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to learn the basics of design in this class. I can’t wait to keep messing around in these programs and learn more and more about them.
