Teach Me How To Font

I never knew how important it was to know which fonts to use and that specific fonts can actually induce different meanings and feelings. A really helpful game was “Type Connection.” It helped me understand what fonts go and do not go with each other. It was fun because it was kind of like a dating game and even went into further detail by what curves of each font belong with another.

One of the hardest games or things for me was “Kern Type.” It was a game to help with proper spacing between words. I would do fine with words that were all the same size or level, but when a capital letter came into place I was completely lost, as you can see.

These games were really helpful and maybe with a little more practice, I can teach others how to font.
