Thunder vs. Lakers

After researching, I noticed that there were many differences between The OKC Thunder and The Lakers marketing strategies. The OKC thunder mainly focuses on just Oklahoma, which is really good and explains why Oklahoma has so much pride in the Thunder. The Lakers focuses more on a national stand point. They incorporate pop culture which makes them more widely known and popular.

The OKC Thunder is widely different now and is focusing on just Oklahoma. The Thunder is slowly making it’s way into pop culture, but not very much or intense as other teams. I think the key thing to why Oklahoman’s love The Thunder so much is because they have such a large focus on Oklahoma. It’s a good idea to reach out to pop culture, but please don’t forget about the Okie roots.
