Typesetting

For this assignment it was our job to find any newspaper and identify the following items on the front page: masthead, headlines, deck, subheads, bylines, body text, photo cutline, pull quote, dividers, and jump lines. The goal of this project was to familiarize ourselves with these terms now that we know more about the tools of InDesign. After looking at my newspaper, I found that the front page had all of the elements except a subhead and a pull quote.
