Typesetting Assignment
The second assignment for lesson 1.3 was called typesetting. In this assignment, we got to test out our InDesign skills for the first time. Professor Croom, provided us with an InDesign document that was already pre-populated with the masthead, images, and logos. Our job was to place the headlines, subheads, bylines, pull quotes, jump lines, dividers, body text and photo cut lines. As discussed in my previous post, all of those things make up the design elements of a front page. When I was designing my front page, it was not as hard as I thought I was going to be for me. Although, I could have played around with the spacing a little it more, I am satisfied with my first InDesign product. Check it out!
