Typesetting Assignment

We had to create a newspaper cover page with content that was given to us, we just had to arrange the content in a certain way. There was a model to follow and that helped me quite a bit. Professor Croom showed me how to layer the documents so I could see where the spacing was off.

As a perfectionist, this assignment took more time than I thought it would. I wanted to make sure the spacing was just right and that each element was in its proper place. I underestimated how long it would take to learn all about Photoshop and InDesign, but once I got the hang of them I was able to do this assignment easily.

Here is a PDF of my typsetting assignment after it has been finalized! I learned how important being exact is and how to use multiple features on InDesign. One of my learning styles is kinesthetic so I liked how we could play with InDesign in order to learn about it.
