Typesetting Assignment
Computers are amazing. Computers are also overwhelming and manipulating things on computers can be very difficult. This week, we dove in to InDesign and Photoshop. We were asked to more or less recreate a template by “setting the type” for the spread. I think the thing that surprised me most about this assignment was how many different elements went in to this fairly simple-looking output.
My result is included below. It’s not perfect, but it’s not awful. I think I could’ve come pretty close to perfection if I’d been given an unlimited amount of time, but hey, that’s not how life works.
